Chapter 1025 is located at the Covington Airport in Covington, Georgia. We hold a pancake breakfast and meeting on the 2nd Saturday of every month from 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Come join us for the best $5 breakfast in town!
Our monthly meetings consist of members and guests giving demonstrations, informative speeches and sharing experiences in a wide range of aviational topics.
Most of our members are experienced pilots but we also have some who are just starting their flight training. Covington Airport is a good place to start your training because the airport is neither too small nor too large. Although it has no tower, it has all of the usual VFR facilities.
And our chapter has experienced CFI’s who can help with training or advice. We are also blessed with two of the best Technical Counselors in the EAA. If they don’t have an answer to your technical problem they will find it.
In addition to our monthly breakfast and meeting we have field trips and fly outs about 4 times a year, hold Young Eagle Rallies, a July 4th Celebration, an annual Christmas Party and various other activities. All meetings are open to the public and visitors are welcome to attend.
The best thing about our chapter is the friendliness of the members. Our members are working on projects to build their aircraft from plans and kits, restore production aircraft, and some are researching what they are going to build. Still others have no intention of building an aircraft themselves, but they like to help other members build. We have members who are machinists and can make anything. As you can tell we have a varied membership. We have retirees, CEOs, engineers, architects, railroad men, etc. and our members will try to help you in any way they can.

And remember – You do not have to fly to join EAA. You just have to have a love for flying.
See you in the air!
